Microtech Filters are a UK-based filter manufacturer, that has been providing customers with high quality and great value filters since 1984. We provide a range of different filters, which includes being a high quality Water Filter Manufacturer.
We design and manufacturer an extensive range of water filters, softeners, purifiers, reverse osmosis units and replacement filter cartridges for industrial and domestic use.
Why filter water?
Whilst water in the UK is some of the best in Europe, the water quality can vary seasonally and dramatically around the country, which can impact its taste, smell, contents and even chemical composition, which can impact how it is used.
What can be found in water?
Bacteria, calcium, chloride, cryptosporidium cysts, fluoride, giardia cysts, herbicides/pesticides, nitrate/nitrile, particulate, sodium (chloride) and metals (such as iron, lead, copper, magnesium, mercury, zinc). These all impact water quality, taste and odour, whether it is for drinking or used in an industrial process, which is where filtration can be an essential tool to remove and leave exactly what you want in the water to achieve the goal you want.
Industrial Water Filters
Working with end users and distributers Microtech has a range of cartridge and bag filters for process liquid filtration. These range from sub micron glass fibre high efficiency pleated elements 0.2 micron to coarse stainless steel woven wire mesh at 1000 micron, with various styles of end caps to suit single or multistage housings.
Filter elements can be wound, pleated, wrapped, spun bonded or resin based along with carbon de-ionisation and RO membrane elements for food, beverage, chemical and pharmaceutical process filter applications.
Domestic Water Filters
Microtech are filter manufacturers and focus primarily on large-scale, industrial use. As such we cannot make or supply individual domestic water filters. However, if you are a domestic water filter company who are looking for a filtration partner to scale your product, then please get in touch.
