Microtech Filters are a UK Filter manufacturer, who specialise in the design and manufacture of Air Pollution Control Filters, which are sometimes known as Dust Filters, but there are differences.
An Air Pollution Control (APC) filter is designed to remove hazardous particulate matter and toxic gases from large-scale exhaust streams before they escape into the outside atmosphere. A Dust Filter however, is designed to primarily capture heavy, visible debris at the source to protect machinery or equipment.
Put simply, Air Pollution Control filters protect pollutants escaping into the atmosphere and Dust Filters protect machinery from contaminants getting sucked into them.
Microtech Filters manufacture a range of Air Pollution Control Filters that are used to treat industrial exhaust emissions such as in the utiliies and Infrastructure industry, often to meet environmental legal standards. Their application is typically in factories, power plants and large industrial stacks to stop toxic smoke, chemicals and fine dust from polluting the outdoor air.
As a UK Air Pollution Control filter manufacturer, the most common form of air pollution control filter types are used in advanced high-efficiency systems like fabric baghouses, electrostatic precipitators, or scrubbers.
The Air Pollution Control Filters we manufacture offer significant advantages over the OEM or current APC filters typically being used by organisations. This is because our Air Pollution Control Filters can be specified so they can easily be cleaned using compressed air or mechanical shaker units, giving improved performance and a much-increased lifespan. They also contain large amounts of the latest medias, meaning they are a very compact size in relation to the airflow they can accommodate, which offers high levels of filtration efficiency.
Air Pollution Control is of vital importance to modern organisations, especially with increasing levels of emissions standards that must be met to protect the environment and people, so if you are in need of a reliable and expert Air Pollution Control Filter manufacturer, please get in touch to see how we can help.
